all i well here in the Northland... the flood has come and gone, now the lower parts of the state are dealing with some flooding with all the rain that was dumped on us one week ago. both govenors of Minnesota and Wisconsin have toured the area and have assessed the damage, which they even commented that it's just horrible. honestly it's looks like an earthquake hit us. some roads and bridges are still closed due to the flood. everyone is now cleaning up and getting on with life as best as they can. people  are looting, which is bad enough. the cops are doing their best to keep it under control, but what can you expect. people are stupid and dumb and want free crap. they're going to do whatever they can to get it.

hey! i surivied! yay! didn't build an ark though. lol.  we are okay, we didn't have damaged like others did. 

there are still 78 roads all over the area that are closed due to washout. dirt and debris are everywhere... the Governor of Minnesota was in Duluth today and he was just devastated. we all were. he's saying that it's most likely that we can get aid. President Obama is considering giving us aid too, nothing confimed yet, (it's what i heard on the TV).

hello everyone, i don't know if you have been following me on twitter or facebook, but i am currently in a Flooded city. we have gotten over 10" of rain in less than 24 hours. roads are closed.. bridges have been shut down or have been washed away. this is a true distaster for us right now. this even beats the Halloween Blizzard of 1991. if this was snow, which i'm so glad it is not, we'd most likely be in 10 feet of snow.

our local Lake Superior Zoo has lost 8 animals, which is a major blow to us, since they just got the creditably back from the state and zoological people. a seal managed to escape and was found hours later. the poor guy. Berlin, our Polar Bear escaped and was tranquilizer and brought back to safety.

i've never been in this kind of a situation before, and it's really scary. if we keep getting more rain i don't know if we'll have to evauate or not. the creek that runs past our house has already flooded over the roads and is threatening our neighbors houses... i pray to god that nothing like that happens. it's all just devistating and just makes me want to cry. this is my home, it's a beautiful place and it's saddens me to see it like this. please pray for us. keep us in your thoughts, as we get through this together..
